Safe Bars was created in 2013 out of a dire need for greater safety in the hospitality industry. Our mission is clear: to create safe, equitable, and inclusive hospitality spaces.

We have trained over 30 communities and statewide coalitions to create local Safe Bars chapters, here are just a few of those. These chapters are fully functional teams that provide Safe Bars training in their communities. Safe Bars HQ provides ongoing support updates and other resources to help sustain these community-based chapters.
